Ep 36. From happily married to a single mom owning 2 businesses, Interviewing Kristina from The Impactful Parent

Welcome to my podcast, Listen to this episode to find out how Kristina went from living the dream to living the dream she never knew she had.

Kristina lives in Colorado and has four children of school age.  She has been an educator for over 20 years, working with all grade levels. Kristina graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1999 and received her master’s degree from the University of Denver in 2019. After many years of teaching, Kristina saw a need to help children from the source, the home! With great enthusiasm, Kristina quit her teaching job and founded the organization, The Impactful Parent. Now, Kristina helps parents of school-aged children by providing parenting tips, resources, and community to those that follow her. When Kristina is not with her friends and family, she volunteers as a Board of Trustee for two different local Colorado schools. Kristina has a passion for children and a strong devotion to serving parents and their school-age children. She continues to stay active in the schools by substitute teaching whenever her schedule allows.

Kristina and I talk about the importance of making yourself a priority and the baby steps you can implement to get there, how to shift our language and mindset to overcome the boundaries we put on ourselves and our capabilities. We discuss how to own your choices little by little as well as how to make friends as an adult. This episode is packed full of value! I hope you find it inspiring.
